Investors FastTrack is hiring a Senior Programmer in Baton Rouge LA

We have an immediate need for a Windows Senior Programmer working in our Baton Rouge office. This is a permanent, full-time job. We are not interested in hiring a consultant or  H1B candidate. You must be a permanent resident of the USA.

Since 1989, we have developed, sold, and supported quality investment software and stock market data. We have subscribers worldwide. Our clients are individual investors, money managers, mutual fund companies, newsletter writers, and other investment professionals.

We do not sell stocks, insurance, or manage money for clients. You do not need to have financial experience.

We have a substantial web presence, and  thousands of subscribers.

Requirements:

1. Programmer: You must have a college degree or 5+ years of computer programming experience.

2. No expertise in investments is required, we teach you what you need to know.

3. For support positions, you should understand Windows plus have experience with common programs like Microsoft Office. Ability to work with web sites and Visual Basic is a plus.

4. For programming, you need experience with  VB.Net, SQL, VB 6.0, C+. These are listed in order of importance. This is an 8AM-5PM job, but you are expected to be available (rarely needed) to support operations outside of regular hours.

5. Technical support works  8AM-7PM. Scheduling is flexible. Part time college students have often worked the evening hours.

6. You should enjoy helping people and be able to express yourself on the phone. You must be unfailingly polite and helpful.

We train and support investors.  FT4Web combines different investments (the many colored lines) into a single low volatility high return portfolio like the yellow line above.

Users most often need help with ordinary Windows computer skills, and internet access. However, we also teach and support simple investment strategies.

All of our business comes  from the internet.  Clients download our free trial package then subscribe if they like the product.

Unlike many software outfits, we like talking with our customers. About half are in the financial services industry managing money or offering financial advice to others. The other half are wealthy individual investors.

Subscribers call us at 866-295-0166 and we talk with them as long as needed to resolve issues. We are open and staffed from 8:00AM to 6:30PM Central on days when the stocks markets are open.

• At this time, there is no health insurance plan. You must have your own plan.

• You can drive by the office (no sign out front, looks like a nice
  home on three acres.). Try Google-Earth.

Ultimately, this is an issue that you will have to address with our customers. Half of all internet traffic is downloads, if you cannot, personally, deal with the "risks" of downloading,  then this job is not for you.
